Dal 25 settembre 2021 al 10 gennaio 2022 la Pinacoteca di Palazzo Lanfranchi sarà sede espositiva, assieme ad altri luoghi di cultura pugliesi, della Prima Biennale d’Arte Contemporanea della Murgia.
L’evento – dedicato a pittura, scultura, fotografia, architettura, video arte, cinema-performance – interesserà i comuni di Cassano delle Murge, Altamura, Gravina in Puglia e Matera, sotto l’alto patrocinio del Parlamento Europeo.
Come nasce la Prima Biennale della Murgia
Più artisti insieme, in una fusione virtuosa di antico e moderno e un comune denominatore: onorare le vittime di tutte le stragi e farsi costruttori di pace. Il progetto, che vede la direzione artistica del Prof. Michele di Leo, in collaborazione con il Comune di Cassano delle Murge, la Fondazione “Pomarici Santomasi” di Gravina e il MIT-Museo d’Arte Contemporanea di Torino, ha coinvolto 167 artisti provenienti da Italia, Svizzera, Turchia, Germania, Giappone, Russia, Estonia, Ucraina, Francia, Grecia, Cina, Bulgaria, Spagna, India, Iran, Lituania, Canada, Stati Uniti, Argentina, Australia. Un un connubio di linguaggi diversi e complessi, specchio della globalizzazione attuale sempre più presente anche nelle nuove tendenze artistiche.
L’evento è suddiviso in 6 sezioni:
1° sezione: arti figurative
2° Sezione: pittura, installazioni, performance
3° Sezione: pittura, video Arte
4° Sezione: cinema sperimentale, architettura contemporanea, fotografia, scultura, video arte
5° Sezione: pittura
6° Sezione: Per loro … un pensiero con l’Arte
La sezione ospitata presso Palazzo Lanfranchi
La Pinacoteca di Palazzo Lanfranchi – che, ricordiamo, è una delle due sedi del Museo Nazionale di Matera – ospiterà la 1° sezione della biennale, dedicata alle arti figurative: “Fra tradizione e innovazione” (questo il titolo della sezione), a cura della dott.ssa Anna Maria Mauro, Direttrice del Museo Nazionale Matera, e Silvia Padula, Storica dell’arte.

Dear Michele Di Leo, it’s urgent that I connect with you since I have been selected by Mega Art Association to exhibit my work at this year’s Biennale. I never received any information or exhibit requirements or any information regarding the logistics of shipping my work, instead the owner Claudio keeps trying to scam me for money, he’s repeatedly harassing me to pay him $1000 US! This unfortunate situation is unacceptable, he’s violating my professionalism with his unethical and unprofessional business practices. I keep trying to send my work to be installed at the Biennale though he’s never provided me with the address, all the essential details I need to exhibit my work. This is deeply concerning since he demanded I pay him 100 Euros to enter the Biennale! I’m hoping you can help me to exhibit my work independently since he is impossible to deal with! I’ve also been invited by the Board to exhibit in the Florence Biennale.. He has misrepresented your Biennale and unfairly damaged your reputation! He is grossly unethical and it is unacceptable! Can you assist me by helping me send my work via FedEx International overnight if you are interested in exhibiting them. I just need an address and a name and a physical location as to where they will be. Thank you so much for your help!
